    • and more
  • Benchmarks Northwest is part of, and funded by, the State of Michigan's Regional Prosperity Initiative, which encourages local private, public and non-profit partners to identify regionally aligned growth and investment strategies for Lansing to support, not the other way around.
  • It also provides the framework for all state departments to share common service areas and support individual regional prosperity plans. Ultimately, the Regional Prosperity Initiative is focused on streamlining state services and highlighting the regionally defined goals and strategies that will further our region's success.
  • The data included on Benchmarks Northwest is a key component of the Regional Prosperity Initiative in that it identifies needs for and progress towards local and regional prosperity. Data and indicators included on the site are integrated with and connected to the Framework for Our Future: A Regional Prosperity Plan for Northwest Michigan, a regional resource that provides tools, data, and action guides for communities that are working to address local goals.
  • The site will be continually updated and enhanced with oversight from Networks Northwest Board and regional stakeholders.
  • Administered by Networks Northwest staff
